3D Collage

Inspired by the artist Christoph Niemann, this activity allows you to create your own 3D collage. First choose an object lying around your house such as scissors, string, a marker, a kitchen utensil, etc. and then place it on a piece of paper. Does its shape or form remind you of anything? Draw the rest in! For instance, a pair of scissors inspired Niemann to make a portrait of a lady (see Niemann’s website here.)

Suggested Materials:

-Piece of paper

-Colored markers or pencils

-Found material of your choosing
