Photography

Inspired by the artist Barbara Bosworth who took photos of a single meadow over a long period of time, I challenge you to create your own series of single place! As you walk around outside or inside, take note of your surroundings (what do you see, hear, smell, etc.). Perhaps write down a few nouns or adjectives to go along with each photo. Your series can be as long as you want it to be, however, I encourage you to take pictures for one week in one place to discover surprises within familiar surroundings. For instance, how does the time of day change the look of your bedroom or backyard? Do shadows appear the same throughout the day? Suggested Materials:

-Camera (phone or DSL)

-Pen and Paper (for written component)

-Thematic idea (clouds, sunsets, view through bedroom window, etc)
